We know the craftsmen personally, so, on the rare occasion we have a problem we return it to the man who crafted the piece and have the problem rectified quickly and efficiently.

This Oak House – 1926

This photo captures the This Oak House store in 1920, when it was a home for John and Priscillia Maxwell, and their 3 daughters. It was built in 1877 and served as the parsonage for the Birr United Church.

This Oak House – 2026

Various owners later, the house was purchased in 2000 by the Moore family who renovated it and turned it into their retail business This Oak House. Over 100 years of change and renovations later, you can still see many similarities between the humble home in 1926 and the present day furniture store.
